This Holiday Season Celebrate with #GivingTuesday

The one main reason you probably wouldn't see me in stores following Thanksgiving is that I find it the most ironic few days to start shopping. When I think of Thanksgiving, I see it as a day to spend time with loved ones and to give thanks to your blessings. I can't imagine running out at midnight - or worse that same day - to purchase a television.

I know many people feel differently (obviously, because we wouldn't have Black Friday otherwise!) and I also know many don't have the family to spend the day with and other people like the opportunity to get out of the house and spend time with family in a different way. Also, those deals are pretty amazing that you see out there and some people may be able to buy things they wouldn't any other time of the year.

But if you want to start a new tradition, join with me on this coming Tuesday. Let's make Giving Tuesday a new thing. We have Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday. Why not Giving Tuesday? (I can't even acknowledge the idea of Brown Thursday. It isn't Brown Thursday. It's Thanksgiving. Yikes people).

Anyways, how can you take part in Giving Tuesday?

On December 2nd, take a portion of the money you may spend on loved ones, and give to those you don't expect anything in return. If you don't have the money to give, why not do something good for someone that isn't expecting it? Shoveling a neighbor's walkway and clearing any snow or leaves. Buy a meal for someone hungry you may see on the streets.

But if you do have the money, even if it's only $5 or $10, find a fundraiser through I even have a few to share with you -

- The Shah Family has accumulated over $21,000 in medical bills due to the costs of cancer treatment for their young son. Their insurance company refuses to pay for the additional costs. Give to the Shah family and ease their burden just a little this holiday season by clicking this link.

There are so many other ways to give through GiveForward. Follow this link to find others to give to and if you have a story to share with others and want to start your fundraiser.

This is a sponsored post. All opinions are 100% my own.

Perfect Sauce for the Holidays - Cucina Antica Pumpkin Sauce [Review And Giveaway]

Recently I had the chance to try Tuscany Pumpkin Pasta Sauce made by Cucina Antica and I couldn't wait to share my experience with you guys.

But first a little about the company, Cucina Antica! They've been in business for over 15 years and their cooking and pasta sauces contain only the freshest ingredients. I love what they believe in too - "Cucina Antica believs that food brings family and friends together, to share good conversation and good times over a delicious meal." I think that's the best type of belief system to have! Chef Neil Fusco, owner of Cucina Antica Foods, grew up helping his mother prepare food using ingredients from the family farm. Born in Italy, he is famous for making "light, fresh, homemade pasta sauces."

Now to the review! I had the chance to try the Tuscany Pumpkin Pasta Sauce, and I was honestly nervous - but nicely surprised - about my experience with the sauce. It is made with a combination of pumpkin as well as San Marzano tomatoes and added spices to make this a tasty, full sauce. My first round with trying was to make this as a pumkin soup! It's the best time of year for this type of treat to since the leaves are turning fall colors.

Making the soup is extremely easy, you simply mix in a bit of cream with the soup. It was made on a rainy fall day and tasted JUST like fall, actually. I was nervous I would be overwhelmed by the pumpkin, but it didn't overwhelm at all. It rounded out the flavor of the tomatoes and was a unique combination. I dashed a little hot sauce in my soup and I really enjoyed this for lunch. Search through the variety packs they offer here and mix and match sauces following this link - Also, if you don't want to buy online, find the store nearest you. I highly recommend buying from Cucina Antica because they have excellent prices and quality ingredients - plus their products taste great!

I highly recommend purchasing the pumpkin sauce in preparation for Thanksgiving. This would go wonderful even as a dipping sauce for breads. My next round of trying this will be with squash ravioli - I can't wait!

Overall, this is an excellent, unique sauce to try. I also can't wait to try some of their other sauces and olive oils and will be sure to look for them in the store. The price is right too because a 3-pack goes for only $24.00 plus shipping. Great price!

Best of all, one of my lucky readers will get to try this amazing pumpkin sauce!

Honest Amish Beard Care [Review and Giveaway]

If you've started shopping for the guy in your life, you'll want to add this next item to your list. My older brother had the chance to try out the Honest Amish Beard Care product (and I had tried out their amazing handmade soap!).

But first, a little about the company. Honest Amish is located in a small town in Pennsylvania and everything is made by hand and from scratch. Also, they'[re products are 100% natural, organic, and have sustainable ingredients. If you are conscious about the environment, you will want to purchase from these folks because you can just tell they care about what goes into the items they sell. I love that!

My brother tried the Honest Amish Classic Beard Oil. The Honest Amish company carefully chose the items for this product and it's designed for beard and skin health and filled with ingredients meant to nourish your beard and relieve irritation of new growth.

After trying the beard oil, my brother thought it the product's packaging was well put thought out and appreciate the easy-to-use stopper that came with the oil. Also, after using it, he thought it gave his facial hair nice control and smoothness as well as a nice shine.

I was lucky enough to try their Lavender and Clove Soap Bar. This soap smelled AMAZING. Also, it had such a creamy texture too. One of my biggest complaints with soap sometimes - especially bar soap - is how it can dry out your skin. This didn't do that at all and it made for an amazing soap to wash with on my face too. I highly recommend this and it will last you a good while too.

Both the soap and the beard oil are very pretty priced. The Lavender and Clove Soap is priced at $6.50. The beard oil is priced at $16.50.

If you want to purchase the Honest Amish Classic Beard Oil, follow this link. If you want to purchase the Lavender and Clove Soap, follow this link. Explore some of their other bath and body items by clicking here and their other beard care items here. Make sure you like them on Facebook too.

Lucky for one for my readers, I also am giving away the same products I received above! Giveaway ends 12/8.

Conte's Gluten Free Pasta [Review and Giveaway] [Ends 11/30]

Since going gluten-free a year ago, I've had the irritating journey to figuring out the best tasting gluten-free brands and which ones were just tasteless. I had the chance to try out Conte's Pasta foods and this review will talk all about my experience with them!

Conte's Pasta started in the 1970's by Angela Conte who carried her love of Italian food with her to America. 1975, Conte's Pasta started with Angela making pasta for her neighbors. The restaurant three years later. Of course, it was successful right away! Soon customer's wanted to bring the good pasta feeling home and the company was born. Conte's Pasta has never been afraid of change as they bring in more products, such as pasta geared towards children, and soon (best of all for me!) geared towards people with food allergies.

I tried a variety of gluten free items made by Conte's Pasta, such as pizza, lasagna, stuffed shells, ravioli, and more! Both my mom and I are gluten-free too so it's hard to find a brand that we know we enjoy. I tried the stuffed shells and my mom tried the lasagna. For the lasagna, my mom thought it was great. There was plenty of sauce too which is a huge thing for us (we always have to buy extra sauce when we buy frozen lasagna!). I also thoroughly enjoyed the stuffed pasta shells. It tasted homemade!

The ravioli was great too and made for such a good dinner. We love pasta at home so we were so happy to try it. Funny thing about ravioli too is that when you cook gluten free ravioli it almost ALWAYS falls apart when you strain it. This didn't! It didn't become a gooey mess once I drained the ravioli. Add sauce and you are good to go. This was amazing!

And I'm ALMOST ashamed to admit this, but my family and I also received pizza crusts and I had ideas about maybe making a pizza right? Well...we couldn't resist and we put the crusts in the oven and just added butter, salt, and paramsean. Oh MY this was good pizza crust. Yes, it was good plain. I plan on buying this again to make actual pizza.

The only downside is that my nearest grocery store didn't have too many Conte's Pasta selections. Right now they're only carrying the ravioli (which is fine with me! But I'd love to indulge on that amazing pizza (and pizza crust) on occasion).

Make sure you check out their amazing gluten free selection and even order online! Find out where you can buy Conte's Pasta nearest to you in your city as well!

I received complimentary items in exchange for my honest review.

Can YouHandle Bar - Dry Beard Oil Review

Attention to all the fellas (or ladies, pay attention if you are starting to buy for the men in your life this holiday season)! I had the most incredible opportunity to work with and review some of their products.

But wait? Me? Well, since I'm a lady, I thought it would be unique to bring in my oldest brother and have him give the products a try. I couldn't wait to see what he thought and get his perspective on some of the great products that CanYouHandleBar offers.

First, a little bit about their background. Reading over the Can You Handle Bar Manifesto tells you so much about the man behind the mustache. Passionate about not only his facial hair, but what it means to be a man, gives me so much respect for this company. Freely admitting that the mustache doesn't make the man (and neither does this product), he defines a man as "a boy multiplied by life, minus excuses." Powerful stuff! He hopes that these products become mementos and highlight your path and journey.

Read the full manifesto by clicking this link. You will be glad you did!

My brother tried their products - the Beard Dry Oil: Wisdom. For what my two cents are worth, I did smell the product and it did smell very good. Most importantly, my brother was the one who tried the product! He said that after using the product, he found that since his hair is a little on the fine side, he thought this beard oil was a bit heavy. He did say however it worked great for him as an aftershave balm!

Best of all, the price is right if this is the right product for you guys out there (or ladies shopping for your guys!). It is priced at $20.00 for the container of dry beard oil.

Shop online at Visit them on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Buy 1 lb Get 1 lb FREE of Mrs. Cavanaugh's Chocolates [Promo Code Inside!]

Time was when Marie Cavanaugh spent hours in her South Dakota farmhouse each Christmas season making pecan rolls and homemade chocolates for holiday gifting.

"It started when my aunt sent her pecan-rolls recipe," Mrs. Cavanaugh recalled. "I gave the recipe my own touch and started making the yummy specialties. Then I began dipping chocolates. Our friends and neighbors loved these treats, encouraging me to start a candy business. Finally, I decided it might be a good idea.'"

Her husband George and children Carla, Lorraine, Calvin, Colene and Genise rallied, helping Mrs. Cavanaugh fill demands for her homemade sweets.

...In 1972, the family moved to Utah, leaving good friends and their beloved cattle ranch.

"It was a difficult decision, especially for George," Mrs. Cavanaugh said. "He was excited about making our new venture, which we chose to call Mrs. Cavanaugh's Candies, a great success. We felt Utah was blessed with good chocolates and that we would enjoy - and could compete with - those who pride themselves on making excellent chocolates."

Millions of pounds of chocolates later, Mrs. Cavanaugh's candies have earned a reputation for unquestionable excellence....

Olives to Go! - Healthy Snacking That Tastes Good! Review and Giveaway [Ends 11/21]

I try very hard to stay focused on my health and selecting the right foods for my diet (that aren't too expensive!). It can be especially hardest for me around lunch time these days and ESPECIALLY around the afternoon slump (between 2 and 4 pm!). I get a major craving for chips or chocolate or SOMETHING. So I couldn't wait to try out Pearls' Olives to Go! and add that to my snack routine.

The Musco Family Olive Company built the name brand we all know as Pearl Olives. It's a privately held family business and is the leading supplier of table olives in America. Isn't that incredible? Started by Nicolo Musco he worked in his family's merchant business to sell olives, cheese and other foods from village to village all from his donkey-driven cart. In 1922, he moved from Italy to New York and started his own Italian food distributorship. He then moved from New York to Northern California and started his dream to create olive oil and olives. In 1960, he passed the business onto his two sons Nicholas and Damian and the business grew quickly. In 1987, Nicholas' son Felix followed in his father's (and grandfather's) footsteps and continued the family business. I love when a company has family roots like this! It shows the care and love that goes into the product. Read more about their company history here.

I tried four different types of olives - Black Pitted, Pimento Stuffed, Sliced Black Olives, and Kalamata Olives. THESE WERE SO GOOD! Both my mom and my older brother enjoyed them! For me personally, I enjoyed the pimento and the kalamata olives the most. These tasted fresh and was the perfect amount for me! My mom also had the unique idea of tossing the sliced black olives into soup! I tried that with a black bean soup I brought with me to lunch and it was a great addition. I would say these snack packs are kid AND grown-up friendly.

So, for a 4-pack, expect to pay about $3.50 or so in your local grocery store. I think this is a fantastic deal for a lunch time snack! It's also a much better choice than having chips or crackers during lunch.

If you want to buy Olives to Go, check out where you can purchase Olives to Go near you!   Also make sure you follow Olives to Go on Facebook and Pinterest.

Best of all, I get to giveaway the four flavors of Olives to Go to one of my lucky readers!
